Adam Lambert – American Idol’s season 8 runner-up chats it up on Larry King Live about how Queen has invited him to perform with them in the future.

He says they did not offer for him to be the lead singer but that they were interested in seeing him come out here and there and sing with them and of course he said yes, he would love to.

Adam Lambert will join Band Queen soon. Band Queen has been considering asking American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert to sign on as their new frontman. According to an series of emails with Rolling Stone magazine, Brian May said that they had become fans of Lambert over the course of the season. Queen themselves have been guest teachers on the talent show in the past. One of the emails said:

"It’s not like we, as Queen, would rush into coalescing with another singer just like that. It isn’t that easy. But I’d certainly like to work with Adam."
